wow…that was beee-ooo-tee-full!
very well written - i could clearly envision all the images. i really like the concept of telling a story through letters. i think readers would get pulled into that easily, like in the Diary of Anne Frank, sorta.
it left me wondering, where is Jake? why are they apart? i was guessing he’s in the military and away on duty. at first, i almost thought that Jake had passed away recently, yet “Belle” was writing him letters to express how much she missed him and was informing him of how life was going for her since he died. but then the last paragraph made me think otherwise.
i hope you keep working on it. IMO, it’s definitely worth your time. i admire your creativity. i’ve always had desires to write a book but can’t ever seem to get the juices flowing when i sit down to write. you’re very talented, lady!
